If you have spent years in therapy or worked hard to change your patterns yet still find yourself in the same painful cycles, you are not alone. A recent loss or transition may have reopened old wounds, or perhaps your life appears steady and successful on the outside while something inside remains unsettled. Insight and effort are important but they do not always reach the deeper layers where these patterns take hold.
In our work together, we move beyond coping strategies and toward the roots of what keeps repeating. Drawing from psychodynamic therapy and EMDR, I help you explore how your history lives in your nervous system, relationships, and sense of self. We slow down, stay curious, and gently process what has been carried for too long so change feels integrated, not just understood. Along the way, we build on your strengths, cultivate resilience, and strengthen your connection to your own inner wisdom.
My approach is holistic and grounded in social justice. I recognize that mental health is shaped not only by personal experience, but also by the systems and communities we inhabit. Culture, race, gender, sexuality, age, ability, immigration history, socioeconomic status, and other intersecting identities all matter. I strive to create a space where these realities can be acknowledged and explored, and where power, privilege, and oppression are understood as part of the broader healing context.
With over a decade of clinical experience, I offer in-person therapy in my Boulder office, including individual therapy and EMDR intensives. Sessions are shared with my gentle canine co-therapist, Korra, a Great Pyrenees who brings a steady, calming presence to the room. I also provide telehealth therapy for clients across Colorado and California.
